Dear friends
I wish you a happy Memorial Day. Isn’t God wonderful to allow us to live and worship in America!
This email is an update on some of my recent internet ministry activities. I have been doing a lot of different things so this is not as much as I’d hoped for, but I pray that it will be a blessing to you and others.
I want to thank you for taking time to browse these writings, and many of you make comments for the help of all my readers.
The Truth About Snake Handling

I introduce this study with an amusing anecdote from my own experience in snake handling! I do not handle them, but I remembered a mountain church, and … well you will need to check it out. Anyway, I speak my thoughts concerning Mark 16 and handling serpents. I also include a short history of snake handling, how it relates to the Church of God, videos and pictures. I hope you find it interesting! (Published May 26 with 23 visits and five comments to date).
The Real Meaning of the Phrase - Maranatha

The early Christian greeting, Maranatha, was given as a welcome upward for a downward time. “The Lord comes” has several nuanced meanings. This is one of the most beautiful and promising greetings for the Christian! (Published MAY 22 WITH 34 VISITS AND 4 COMMENTS TO DATE.)
A Drunk Called Dredgy and the Value of a Soul!
url: http://hubpages.com/hub/A-Drunk-Called-Dredgy
This is a fictionalized short story based on real ministry experience. It is not easy to go to the “Dredgy’s” , but in this case a precious soul of an elderly drunkard was saved. (Published May 3 with 37 visits and four comments to date)

Jesus says that I am the salt of the earth – The question I ask in this hub is, “Do I speak with ‘salt.” If food unsalted is tasteless, so is it with our speech. The Apostle Paul uses this metaphor to say, “As salt is to food, there are seasonings (grace) to our speech”. What are its best seasonings? (Published April 27 with 53 visits and 7 comments to date)
Excuses, Excuses, Excuses & More Excuses
url: http://hubpages.com/hub/Excuses-Excuses-Excuses-More-Excuses
Excuses clutter your path like leaves falling in the forests of late autumn. They are so easy to find, and if not, just as easy to invent. One man in the parable purchased a piece of ground, “and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.” The next had bought oxen which had to be yoked to the plow. The third found a wife, “Excuse me.”
One final word.
Thank you for taking time and reading some of these. You all encourage me greatly. I am not a writer, but I enjoy preaching in every way that I can. (Published April 12 with 45 visits and 1 comment to date)
God bless
